OVISPRAY
Agricultural and Horticultural All-Purpose Spray Oil
A SPRAY OIL FOR BETTER PLANT PROTECTION
OVISPRAY is an Agricultural and Horticultural Mineral Spray Oil that is:
As effective as broad-spectrum synthetic pesticides for a wide range of pests and diseases of a broad range of plants.
Highly suitable for Integrated Pest Management programs (IPM).
Suitable for use in organic agriculture. Applied for Organic certificate in Australia.
Suitable for use as an adjuvant for the optimization of chemical pesticides treatments.
A product to which pests and diseases cannot develop resistance.
Formulated with a biodegradable paraffin oil (>80% in 28 days) and carefully selected co-formulates, Ovispray has no environmental impact labeling.
One day withholding period.
Wide activity spectrum
OVISPRAY® has different modes of action on pests and diseases:
Block the air holes (spiracles) and respiratory tubes (tracheae) through which insects and mites breathe, causing them to die from asphyxiation.
Repellent effects that disrupt feeding and oviposition by some pests, thereby limiting the incidence pests and damage to plants, and transmission of plant pathogens (viruses and bacteria).
Prevent fungal growth by acting as a physical barrier between pathogens (e.g. fungal spores) and plants and become a tool for the management of diseases such as powdery mildew.
Oil entering mouthparts (stylets) of aphids, whiteflies and thrips reduces transmission of non-persistent viruses.
As an adjuvant or carrier to improve pesticide performance.
The purer, the safer
The impurities in Spray Oils, such as aromatic and olefin components, unsaturated molecules, and compounds containing sulfur, nitrogen or oxygen are especially responsible for acute phytotoxicity (rapid death of plant tissues manifested as burns).
OVISPRAY® is formulated with a highly-purified biodegradable mineral oil with optimized physicochemical characteristics. Ovispray is biodegradable, >80% in 28 days.
Superior Unsulphonated Residue (UR)
UR is a representative measure of oil purity and the potential for oils to cause acute phytotoxicity and oil purity. The advised minimum UR standard for horticultural and agricultural mineral oil is 92%. Ovispray is 99.97 pure.
OVISPRAY® is formulated with a 100% saturated mineral oil, minimizing the risk of acute phytotoxicity and ensuring the highest safety standards for both workers and the environment.
Optimized carbon distribution
OVISPRAY® conforms to Australian Standard DR87078 definition of C-21NR (Narrow Range) spray oil. It offers a maximum efficacy while minimizing acute and chronic phytotoxicity.
Highest paraffinic content
Best pesticide and fungistatic effects are achieved at highest paraffin content of a Spray Oil.
With > 70% paraffin content, OVISPRAY® is ranged one of the highest paraffinic content in the market to ensure the best control performance. 76% paraffin in Ovispray.
Optimum viscosity
Optimum viscosity combines with optimum carbon distribution provide the highest level of pesticide effect and the right degree of adherence on the leaves to ensure safe and efficient spray application.
